Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind


Eternal Sunshine of the Spotlight is all time favorite of everyone who watches it. The movie has an awesome cast of Jim Carry and Kate Winslet. Both have justified their role very well. Movie expresses many emotions such as happiness, sorrow, love, sadness, hate and many more.  American romantic science fiction comedy-drama film written by Charlie Kaufman and directed by Michel Gondry is a piece of art that will be remembered till eternity. “Eternal Sunshine” is a metaphor for ongoing peace, happiness and carefree, and “Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind” is describing the happiness and joy one can experience once the negative.

The movie is a love story of Joel Barish and Clementine Kruczynski who gets breakup after two-year-long relationship. The story is reverse revisiting his memories of Clementine in reverse, starting from the disintegration of their relationship. After the breakup, Joel and Clementine decided to get their memories erased so that they can forget past. But this was not true as film start on the note when they meet on the train which is going to Montauk that day. They get attracted toward each other and feel attraction. 

While the process of memory was going on, Joel was reliving the moment. Everything was just gone wrong for him as still love her. At one point of the movie, he stops running and stays there with her so that he can enjoy that moment. He was confused with everything he was feeling and experiencing. Ultimate truth was that he still loves her and don’t want to lose her. Later he finds that the girl he is in love with again is same from his past. So he tells her truth but she warns him that if they continue their relationship, they will end up same.
